Mark B. Klapholz, M.D.


Mark B. Klapholz, M.D. graduated medical school from The University of Pennsylvania in 1979. He completed his internship and residency at Long Island Jewish Hospital. Dr. Klapholz then completed his Fellowship in Gastroenterology at the Bronx Veterans Administration and Mount Sinai Hospital, in New York.  He became Chief Resident of Medicine back at Long Island Jewish Hospital.


Dr. Klapholz is Board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology and is a member of American College of Gastroenterology along with the American College of Physicians. He is affiliated with North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset, New York and Long Island Jewish Medical Center, New Hyde Park, New York


Dr. Klapholz offers both primary care and gastroenterology services in his Lake Success office.
